HOW LONG DOES AN INSTALL TAKE?
Once fiber is available to the home, the install process should take up to 2 hours.
HOW IS FIBER INTERNET INSTALLED?
The installation process for InfoWest fiber internet involves three steps:
1. Initially, fiber cable is placed at street level.
2. Next, the fiber is extended to homes/buildings and InfoWest will mount an ONT either on or in your home, establishing the connection to the InfoWest fiber network. This step does not require you to be present.
3. Finally, a technician will set up a Fiber Jack if you don't have one yet. The Fiber Jack connects your router to the InfoWest fiber network within your home.
